From May 9 to 10, the French academician team composed of Academician Majoral, Professor Miganani, Professor Shi Xiangyang, the deputy dean of the College of Chemical Engineering and Bioengineering of Donghua University and other 2 persons visited our college. And, Kong Fanshi, the president and Dong Lisheng, the vice president warmly received the French academician team.
On the afternoon of May 9, Academician Majoral conducted a lecture with the theme of “Phosphorus dendrimers: Design and applications”. Before the lecture, Kong Fanshi, the president briefly introduced the development information and international cooperation of the school. He indicated that he was confident about the deep cooperation between the academician team and the school. The medical technology and innovation team and the railway food safety management, technology and innovation team of the school, the core young and middle-aged teachers and students of the College of Pharmacy, Zhao Wen, the professor of the College of Pharmacy of Zhengzhou University, Yan Zhenning and Niu Yunyin, the professors of the College of Chemistry and Zhang Hanlin, the doctor of the Institute of Zoology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences attended in the lecture.
After the lecture, the French academician team and the expert team conducted an academic exchange for the medical technologies, such as dendrimer research, pharmaceutical synthesis and health diagnosis and treatment technology.
On the morning of May 10, as accompanied by Lu Yanqi, the dean of the College of Pharmacy, the French academician team paid a visit to the nearly completed scientific and technological innovation building and the key laboratory of the College of Pharmacy. The parties held a symposium. In the symposium, three doctors in the scientific and technological innovation team of the College of Pharmacy extensively exchanged and deeply discussed for pharmaceutical synthesis, biological agent, extraction of natural medicines and food and medicines. Academician Majoral highly recognized the school and expressed strong interests in the cooperation with our college for food and medicines. The parties indicated that the visit would actively promote their further cooperation in the medical technology research and lay a firm foundation for accelerating the establishment of the Henan health diagnosis and treatment academician workstation.
The school will be more committed to the international education capacity construction and scientific technology research and provide intelligence support for the construction of “the Belt and Road” by virtue of the international influence of the French academician team.
