On June 14, the Chinese high-speed technology training class opened by our college for the core teachers in the Russian transportation colleges and universities for the first time was ended successfully. In the seven-day training, the students coming from Transportation University of Russia, Ural State University of Railway Transport, Samara State Transport University and Omsk State Transport University completed various learning takes smoothly and obtained a course-completion certificate.
In the opening ceremony held on the morning of June 10, Kong Fanshi warmly welcomed each student on behalf of the school. He pointed out that it was the 70th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic tie between China and Russia and the 19th anniversary of the Chinese-Russian people-to-people exchange mechanism. In the context of developing the comprehensive strategic cooperation partnership between China and Russia in the new age, the training class opened by the school was of significance for promoting the improvement and upgrade of the bilateral tie and the beneficial development of the rail transit industry.
To arrange the training, the functional departments of the school coordinated each college to prepare for the training carefully. Zhang Zhongyang, the dean of the College of Rolling Stock and Li Xuewu, the dean of the College of Electric Engineering respectively gave special lessons regarding the key technologies of CRH trains, high-speed rail traction and power supply system, high-speed rail signal technology and high-speed rail transportation organization. The school and enterprise cooperation office organized the students to visit the comprehensive high-speed rail practical training base (the south bank of the Yellow River) of China Railway Zhengzhou Group Co., Ltd., and the Zhengzhou East Station. The students generally indicated that in the training, the high-speed technologies were advanced and the training contents were rich, enlightening and helping the teaching and scientific research work conducted in the future.
The training class is the first teacher training class opened by our college for the countries along “the Belt and Road” with the great support of the International Association of Transport Universities of Asian-pacific Countries and the Eurasian International Association. In the future, with the construction of the overseas branch established by our college and the solid progress of the internationalization, our college will carry out various training on a regular basis and make contributions to the construction of “the Belt and Road” and the “going out” of the China high-speed railway in the aspects of intelligence and power.
