On October 18, the 20th China Annual Conference for International Education & Expo was held in Beijing. With the theme of “Education 2035: Talking about the Future of the World”, the conference discussed the education modernization in 2035, promoted the higher level of education to be open to the outside world and jointly planned a beautiful blueprint for the international education development. Dong Lisheng, the vice president was invited to attend the Symposium on Chinese-foreign Cooperation in Higher Vocational Education and made a thematic speech with the theme of “improvement of the international school-running level makes contributions to the construction of ’the Belt and Road’”.
Dong Lisheng briefly introduced the basic information of the school and indicated that Zhengzhou Railway Vocational & Technical College had paid efforts and made an exploration in many respects based on the National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan to make positive contributions to the improvement of the internationalization level of vocational education and the promotion of the construction of “the Belt and Road”. He brought an expectation in the aspects of deepening the diversified exchange mechanism, removing the obstacles existing in the “overpass bridge” of international talents cultivation, providing a new program for international vocational education based on the transportation industry service, blending the excellent resources of several parties to create a new brand for international education cooperation, solidly promoting the implementation of the international school-running objective and improving the high-quality international school-running level. He emphasized that the school would continue to adhere to the opening-up policy of “bringing in, going out and keeping improving”, stick to the pursuit of core value, closely keep up with the pace of the Chinese enterprises to “go out” and continuously write a new chapter for innovative development.
In the symposium, the attending representatives carried out a deep exchange and discussion. The study and exchange provided a new idea to sufficiently utilize the excellent teaching resources of the several parties and guarantee and improve the education quality from the international perspective and was productive in the aspect of promoting the Chinese-foreign cooperation in education and cultivating the high level of skill talents mastering international competitiveness in the school. Many advanced ideas and success stories provided a referential mode for the school and made for the school to carry out the Chinese-foreign cooperation in education by referring to the exiting experience.
