On the afternoon of June 15, Mr. Stefan, the dean of the Australian Holmes Institute and other 2 persons were invited to attend the 2019 Chinese-Australian Project Management Committee Meeting of our college. Su Dongmin, the secretary of the party committee, and Ni Ju, the vice president attended the meeting and the relevant department heads were present in the meeting.
Su Dongmin welcomed the visit of Mr. Stefan and the delegation and hoped that the parties could further strengthen the communication and coordination and deepened the new result made in the cooperation in education. Ni Ju, the vice president introduced the achievements made by our college in recent two years for the major construction and teaching reform, admission and employment, teacher cultivation, international exchange and cooperation. Mr. Stefan introduced the school information of the Holmes Institute and affirmed the achievements made by the parties in the cooperation in education this year. After that, the parties deeply discussed with each other for further improving the English level of the students, reforming the teaching mode and measure and increasing the teaching and management quality, and deeply communicated with each other and reached an extensive consensus for the major adjustment and the overseas research and exchange of the teachers and students.
Our college began to carry out the cooperation in education with the Australian Holmes Institute in 2007 and has developed the project for 12 years since the establishment of the cooperation relationship, and cultivated 10 years of graduates. At present, the students at school in the cooperation in education reach about 300.
