Recently, the Higher Vocational Development Think Tank has conducted a statistical analysis on the number of invention patent granted to higher vocational colleges in 2021. In that year, higher vocational colleges throughout the country obtained 5562 invention patent grants, up by 43.57% year on year. Among these, 164 double-high colleges obtained 3127 grants, accounting for 56.2%. Our college obtained 95, ranking fourth among all higher vocational colleges in the country.
Invention patents are an important measure of the scientific research and innovation capabilities of a higher vocational college. In recent years, against the background of Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Everyone, the role and status of patents have become increasingly prominent. In 2021, our college performed outstandingly in patent grants, showing our strong scientific research and innovation skills. Our college will give further play to its advantages in terms of technological innovation, integrating industry with education and social services, and will promote the transfer and transformation of patent management,thus building a new highland of scientific and technological innovation services.
