The National Vocational College Teaching Ability Competition concluded on November 25th, 2023, in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province. The work titled Vocational Physical Fitness Special Training, presented by Qin Hao, Xu Le, Zhao Mingming, and Zhang Xinqi from the PE teaching team of the Physical Education Department at ZZRVTC, won the first prize in the national vocational college category. This achievement marked ZZRVTC's inaugural national first prize in the national teaching ability competition, breaking the previous record of zero such accolades. In addition, the work Chinese Music Appreciation, presented by Yang Hongsi, Liu Yi, Ren Dexin, and Yu Shui from the Aesthetic Education Course teaching team at the Art School of ZZRVTC, won the second prize in the national vocational college category, setting a new record for ZZRVTC in the arts category at the national level.

The Academic Affairs Office has organized a school-wide competition in preparation for the 2023 Teaching Ability Competition since January 2023. An outstanding team participated in the Henan Provincial Competition in June. ZZRVTC hosted the Public Basic Course Competition of the Teaching Ability Competition of Higher Vocational Education in Henan Province in 2023 and the Post-Competition Symposium for the entire province. It has also won 6 first prizes, 6 second prizes, and 1 third prize at the provincial level, boasting the highest number of awards among higher vocational institutions. Following intense competition at the provincial online evaluation, provincial final, and national online evaluation, 2 teaching teams from ZZRVTC in physical education and aesthetic education successfully advanced to the national final of the 2023 National Vocational College Skills Competition for Teaching Ability.
Faced with significant changes, high difficulty, and new competition requirements, the two teaching teams of ZZRVTC embraced the progress of vocational education teaching reform, adhered closely to the guidance of teaching innovation, carefully designed the teaching process, condensed the teaching characteristics, and faithfully restored the diverse teaching realities. Among the 278 finalist teams nationwide, they emerged triumphant and finally achieved outstanding performance by acquiring the first and second prizes for ZZRVTC in the national competition.

ZZRVTC places great significance on the teachers' teaching ability competition and the enhancement of teachers' quality. During the preparation and competition, Mr.Tian Daomin, the Secretary of the Party Committee at ZZRVTC, President Ma Yuxia, Vice President Ni Ju, and Li Fusheng, among others, consistently inquired about the training progress of the competition. They encouraged teachers to set winning the first prize in the National Competition as their goal, promoting teaching, learning, improvement, and overall institutional development through the competition. This approach aims to deepen the construction of curriculum, ideological, and political foundations, foster a high-caliber teaching team, and continuously enhance the quality of education and teaching. Various relevant functional departments, secondary colleges, and academies collaborated fully to establish a solid foundation for the outstanding results achieved in this competition.
